Steelers 09'

Yinzers,

Well after all the hype of the 2009 NFL draft, this weekend was pretty overall average.Everyone knew the day before that Matt Stafford signed with the Detroit lions for a guaranteed 41.7 million dollars- not bad for being a douche bag. As for the rest of the media rage, all i hear about was how great the Patriots drafted, in fact they are the greatest drafters of all time- wrong, wrong , wrong.

We all know that the Pittsburgh Steelers and their staff know how to work the draft like no other team around. The Steelers went about business as usual this weekend with only one big surprise in the media- Hines Ward decided to renegotiate his contract to end his career with the steelers. 4 years and some money- lets face it he deserves it and he is the best teacher at his position since the great Jerry Rice.

I am glad that the Steelers have learned from the Franco Harris Mistake of years past- who the hell remembers Franco as a SeaHawk-no one.

A.Q. is a Penn Stater, whose favorite team is the mighty Steelers and whose favorite player is Mike Webster, the greatest Steeler center. Listen to his interview, he's living the dream. Also, word on the street is they picked up Blackhawk High School grad, and friend of mine, long snapper Mike Estermyer from PITT. Also living the dream and a cool cat as well.

awesome to see that the Brognano family is helping the Rooneys as usual- how was that 7 minutes at the blue and white game?

didn't make it in...drank beer and ate deer burgers from 10:30-2:30 and went home to watch the pens. blue/white is practice for the football team and practice for tailgating...we feel we got enough work in
