So I hope every one over the weekend used multiple amounts of sunscreen and had a great last gasp of summer. School for most of us goes back into session this week which means that getting "Crumliched with the Crumlichs " will soon be a thing of the past. Hooray School.

If you live under a rock- a large rock you might not know that Micheal Phelps Olympic Swimmer did the unthinkable- he got people to watch the Olympics. Also he went .1000 in 8 events. Unbeatable. Unforgettable, damn dangerous in a pool. Here is what I love I listen to a considerable amount of talk radio, sports talk radio and the big huge ginormous question of the weekend is .......Is he the greatest. In short YES, it is simple he went perfect in the Olympics, against the world. He is one of the greatest athletes of all time. If Baltimore did not have Micheal Phelps they would not have sports, this season of Oriels ,Ravens and whom ever else they have down there would be disappointing. But they have the unbeatable Mike Phelps. I wish some of these rebel rousers in radio would calm down accept that he is the best athlete ever in the Pool and accept it. not hard he is from the US move on. Oh congrats Mike.- oh he is humble too.

In the Jets game from the other night Benedict Arnold/scrooge Mc Duck ( Brett Farve) had a very impressive drive for a touchdown in the early goings of his televised scrimmage game. Still kind of upset at an individual that would turn down close to 20 million to market to go back out and risk injury. Dumb

In early early Penguins news Ryan Whitney is out, big surprise for the PENS loyalists but he will be out for a considerable amount of time recouping from his big ankle surgery.Whit will miss 3-5 months of playing time and the beginning of the season. All i hope is that when he comes back he can rival any other of our Defense men. Heal up kid.

As you can see from the top of the page, I met local celebrity and KBL sports show ICON in the Pittsburgh area GUY JUNKER. Co host of KBL sports beat with Stan Savran. Guy was always a fan favorite and after he left the air for a while I truly missed him. He is just damn cool. Thanks To MRS. B (coolest woman on the planet) for yelling at him.

In MSM FINAL four death tournament news. The Final Four is set and over the next two weeks along with a poll you can vote the 2008 MSM death tournament winner. We have had great response and will continue to do things like this. Here is your Final four:

Hey Yinzers,

So the Golden Brett is now a Jet. In my opinon whatever- he is a great player but how long has he got? I kind of think of this as when Micheal Jordan came back to be a Washington Wizard, or when Mario Lemiux unretired for the third time. I don't think it is fair for sports fans to deal with such a steadfast player changing uniforms. What is going to happen ? Will Jets fans now start the Superbowl J-E-T-S chant because of him? Let me know. Well I am glad it is over and we can now talk Football.

Tonight is the Official start to the Pittsburgh Steeler Football season as they host the Philladelphis Eagles, the game is on locally KDKA at 6:30 with pregame. I hope the Injury bug stays away long enough to see a pretty good scrimmage.

So as you read yesterday afternoon Our good Friend the Nixheckler will be sharing his insight on the worlds of professional and college football. Along with giving me tons of Crap. Please right in to tell the Heckler what you agree and disagree with in the weeks to come. We here at MSM welcome the Nixheckler with a Laurel and Hardy Handshake!

So we are on the Eve of the Olympics, this is a pretty nerve racking time for the Olympic athletes , I don't think that even in the numerous doping scandals and other participating issues I would be most worried about my safety. In this world of non-stop news coverage and what happened in Atlanta a few years ago, the summer Olympics becomes a big Target for the Crazies of the world to make a name for themselves. I hope and Pray we can get through this Olympics with the only drama coming on the playing Field. I also hope that the numerous News outlets out there drop the whole conspiracy theory that comes up every day!

Please get rid of the mascots for each olympics, I do not know what they are and what they stand for. This confuses and scares me. Thank you.( I think the one on the left is the symbol for Bathroom )

In MSM death tournament news Bigfoot is moving on in a battle of very hairy dudes. But boy what a run Billie Mays had. To honor Biggy go to the BIGFOOT GAMES and try your luck messin with Sasquatch!

In Brett Farve News, it looks like he either will be heading to the Jets with Mangeno or to the BUCS with umm, that's right there is no one on the BUCS- oh John Gruden. ( MY BAD)

*****In breaking news this morning Brett Farve was traded to the New York Jets last night approximately at 1am. One of the closing points on the deal is that there is a 1000 acre hunting preserve that Brett would have rights to hunt and fish on in his free time. His new home is less than five minutes away. I am glad this fiasco is over- now the real question is can the JETS not go 4-12 this season.********

More news from camp Justin Hartwig has been brought into clean up the Mahan spot from last year. the biggest fear for me this season being a Steeler Fan is both our Lines. Defensive not so much - but offensive line I am very worried.

My other concern is the Punter position, with our guy down with the ACL blues What are we to do? Is it Gramatica time? ( prob not)

What the heck is happening in the MSM death tournament as of 7:15 last night we are still tied with the Batman/Ric Flair Match up. This is like one of those car accidents from the Original Blues Brothers where the Cars keep hitting each other again and again and again ..................... THE CHASE SCENE!





Batman wins the marathon as Rick Flairs old body cannott keep up with this summers greatest super hero. Batman contiues to the semis!
