Monday Igloo Update

Yinzers,

So our Penguins have the 20th overall pick in June 25th's NHL draft. Jukebox Shero will undoubtedly turn heads with his moves...experience the dance dance evolution. Just as some insight to having such a late pick, Brooks Orpik was taken 18th by the Penguins, Colby Armstrong was taken 21st by the Pens and Max Talbot and Tyler Kennedy were taken outside the top 20 by the Pens. Shero will do some magic.

The first game at the Consol Energy Center will be on October 7th, 2010 as the Penguins host the Philthadelphia Flyers. The rest of the schedule will be announced tomorrow at high noon at the Igloo Corral.

Finally, the Penguins signed defenseman Reverend Ben Lovejoy to the squad for three more years. Lovejoy played up quite a bit this season in the absence of Sergei Gonchar. The deal will pay Lovejoy $525,000 per year for his 2-way contract.

That's all for now, and thank God Philthadelphia lost,
B Brog
