Playoff Drama

Hey Yinzers,

So the stage is set for the final run toward the super bowl. In the NFC the Eagles will play the World Champion Giants, and the Carolina Panthers will host the Arizona Cardinals. The big buzz in the news this weekend was how could the Eagles possibly do this, it is simple they did it because the NFC for the past 12 years is always up in the air. Let me explain, The AFC is pretty much set in stone from the beginning of the year, Patriots ,colts, Steelers , Ravens etc. The NFC is a crap shoot. The cowboys were supposed to be there and they are not, the Cardinals have no business being there but they are. ( kinda see my point). So it is always exciting for me to see whom gets in - in the NFC.

As for the AFC, one big upset from this weekend, was the BOLTS beating the COLTS. In my opinion no one really played that well to begin with. I am not really impressed by a 9-8 bolts team coming into Pittsburgh on Sunday. But the intriguing match up of the weekend would have to be the Ravens at the Titans. This is going to sound cliche' but the ravens will either beat them or not-duh. It kind of depends if the Titans bother to show up or if Jeff Fisher can have his squad ready.

PENS

This season is starting to look pretty Grimm for the Pens. The team is just missing something this year. They are not playing like a team, and the Power play is really non-existent. What is wrong with the pens? do they have Asian bird flu- come on .

They are at the Rangers 7-7:30 start on VS.

Finally

Nix heckler got his wish yesterday, when the Louisville Cardinals beat the visiting Kentucky Wildcats. what a game. Edgar Sosa hit a 3 with under 3.1 to play. It was a pretty fantastic finish.
