So here it is another week, and for some of my friends out there they know that my weekend was the real pits. So I am here to spread my love over the world wide intra net by Bringing you the next installment of MSM. Oh Bother-

So Brett Farve wants back in, and The Packers just like any brake up are trying to pull themselves together and move on. I Blame Brett for just not sticking around another year- I mean when it gets right down to it he has enough energy to go and do a Wrangler Comerical why didn't he save that energy and work out /play another grueling year in Wisconsin. This is an ugly divorce and yes it is going to be in the papers and the neighbors are talking. I wish that both sides would move on and possibly Brett should get another endorsement down the road so he doesn't sit around and think about what might have been? Sigh-

In other sports news, The All- Star festivities kicked off with a bang yesterday int he Bronx. Yes it's baseball and yes I am a PIRATES fan, but my good friend MIKE VERO is a huge YANKEES fan and so I am excited that the midsummer classic is being played tomorrow night for the final time at Yank-me stadium. I really do appreciate the historic value of the all-star game and where it is and what it means.

I also like that whom ever wins that is the Home field throughout the World Series. All in all I just like Football more.

Talking about the Pits- MSM death Tournament continues on and the winner of the inter gender tag team match went in a last minute upset to She-ra and the Smurfs. I think that He-man and his "Pumpkin head had something to do with this" .

Today's match up hit me over the weekend when driving to my parents place, this battle if for the sole purpose of supremacy of the name BIGFOOT

Bigfoot the woodland creature and folklore of all the world will be going head to head against the Most recognizable monster truck of all time. Do your best and pick the winner ,vote away and make sure you have a good reason why they won!

The steelers are now being said that they are up for sale, well not really but the thought of the Rooney's not being in charge is really bad for this yinzer......what would ART DO?

Freaked out Friday( Well maybe)!

So here it is last day of the week( sigh).
When was the last time you flipped out. You went Postal-not From the Mailbag....So I found this newest flip out by a minor leauge manager. Wo why do you think that these Managers flip, is it because Baseball is slow and not really intresting until the post season? Watch this and let me know what whould you do if you were a part of this blow up?BLOW UP

So more changes with the Steelers. I am kind of upset like many other Steeler Fans, First the introduction of Steely Mc Beam and now maybe the reins of the franchise may be sold. I am really kind of shaky about this. We are taking a franchise that has made no changes over the last forty years and now I am supposed to be ok with that: This is what I think, Art JR . Is getting up in years and maybe he is making preperations for when he is not around in the long ahead future. So on one hand, I think that it is very responcible for the Rooney's to plan for the future- and I know nothing ever stays the same but-I hope this does not make a huge impact.

IF the Rooney's can't figure it out.................

UFC is being challenges by another Yinzer with Cash. Mark Cuban is starting a MMA leauge trying to cash in on the new fanbase of Mixed Martial Arts, Dana white says his is the best , the staple and the most watched as of the last Pay Per View show with UFC 86. It is going to be hard to take down Dana White and The UFC. Kimbo slice will not be the savior of the Anti-UFC movement.

MSM death tournament continues on through the weekend with last nights battle between the HUX's and the Seivers coming down to the last blow - literally. The Huxtables win in a landslide- I received two votes on here and about 9 emails with growing pains getting 2.

Today's Match up includes a blast from the Past remember watching saturday morning cartoons and if you were like me ( Wrestling ) right after it, well what would happen if two of our favorites entered the ring together. Here is the twist It is an intergeder Tag-team death match:

OH MY Thursday?

Hey Ya'll,

So this is the part where I say, "can't wait till football. And everyone at MSM thinks ok idiot say something not about how it's summer and there really isn't any sports etc.

Ok so now that we have that over with , this blog is dedicated to TWO big idiots that made terrible decisons over the past year in there respective sports.

Lets start with loser #1 Rich Rodriguez.

Give me a break - what a huge loser. Just for you that don't know the R squared soap opera, Rodriguez came out last year and said that no matter what he would never leave his forat and only love Coaching for the West Virginia Mountaineers. Well soon after his office was empty and his bank account was not- he skipped town for Big ten lame-ass Michigan. Whom I may throw in was embarassed by DII National champion( 3time) Appalachain State. Michigan is paying WVU 4 millon dollars over the next two years for his Official contract.

So kids what does this short version tell you:

• There is no Loyalty even though you say in press confrence after press confrence" I will never go to another school- or leave my almamader.

• West Virginia fans contemplated jumping off the New River Gorge( largest free standing bridge on the east coast) In protest- they decided against it.
  


• His wife should be worried. ( probably not faithful)

Loser #2: Tony "Poundcake" Stewart

Let me start off by saying I have no love loss for this man. In fact if you have ever been to a NASCAR event, after a few beverages I chant out loud-"You say TONY, I sAY hit the wall"It goes over quite nicely. He wants out of Joe gibbs racing and wants to start his own team here is why it will not work:

• Home Depot will follow Stewart but then will raise prices again for no apparant reason. Depot sucks





• He will have to get a butter or margarine sponsor because of his latest Mullet and over weight look he may not be aboe to get into the car soon.

In MSM tournament News Last nights match up, So the votes came up even in the comments column And i was totally distraught until I received two emails about the 9 o'clock hour last night ( the amazing Internet) from listeners of the morning Y'all Turnative and surprisingly they both took the man in the little red suit. So Santa edges Uncle Rico in the closest battle to date. Great job everyone! and HOOORAY FOR Santa!

Tonight's match up puts two 80's sitcom family's in the middle of a death match to see whom moves on to the next round.

Wild Wedensday!

Hey Ya'll,

So here is the deal - I hosted Country Karaoke last night at the Wild Wing downtown Columbia. It usually is entertaining with multiple singers and multiple styles. ( fill in witty tone deaf reference here) But last night was special. My friend Jim and I approached our spot near the stage so that while the singing was going on we could eat.

To our Surprise a brand new dancing superhero team showed up in the crowd and not only was the singing above par, the real action was at the corner bar right up front. It was celebrity night and I didn't even know it. You may recognise this duo:

Let me throw this out there , I never Knew Santa drank so much ? Why is he vacationing in Columbia SC, in the middle of the year. We came to the conclusion that he had to be on his way back to the pole from Myrtle Beach and stopped off for some karaoke with some locals.

As for uncle Rico the dancing machine, his shoes caught fire a few times and as he danced alone for approximately 2 straight hours, I thought to myself why would you want to go back to 1985 to play football anyway?

Well all in all , songs were sung, Santa was liquored up and Rico pulled something.

So we are officially under a month for football, The Athlon sports magazine franchise put out there preseason top 10 like they always do. I do not agree with some of the picks but we can dissect them in the weeks ahead: here is the list( there list)

I do not know what to think, I have read all the stats and the top four of course are the current heavy favorites for any BCS system. In the MSM death tournament, UNCLE SAM blasted lady liberty with quite the bitch slap landing him into the second round of the tournament. Today's battle is off the cuff from last night and so since they were in the crowd at Karaoke we might as well put them head to head in the tournament so here it is:

Booze-day? NO Tuesday

Hey Y'all,

So I'm Back( hold the applause to a minimum) .

Great Sports weekend and great outcome from the UFC fight this weekend. Almost when we get these fights on Pay per view. It is always a crap shoot. Sometimes they are good or maybe they are not. The headliner bout between Forrest Griffen and Rampage Jackson reached superstar potential . It was a great 25 minute fight. Yes they went the whole 5 rounds.

The thing that most impressed me about the fight was the post fight interviews. Do you know how some athletes come up make excuses , thank god and peace out. Not in this fight. Forrest won the belt , cried gave mad props to Rampage and then said that every time he was hit- it hurt. He was totally honest and said that he would like a re-match again to defend the title. WOW.

Here is the kicker, Rampage told it like it was, he lost no apologies or excuses. He lost ( huge round of applause and gratification from the Fans) . It was really refreshing to see two human beings that just beat the bejesus out of each other be honest and true to what just happened.

Ok - so the NHL off season has been busy for the Stanley Cup runner up pens. They are buying and selling left and right. WOW I have never seen this much action in an off season before in my life.
