The Stairway to Seven

Yinzers,

Before ynz read on, we will mention that there are many great parodies turned to Steelers fight songs, including Stairway to Heaven. We are not saying ours is better and we are not trying to rip any of theirs off, this is just our own version. Play the video, listen to the instrumental and read our lyrics. Enjoy

The Stairway to Seven
~lyrics by B. Brog, J. Brog and the Law; Album cover by J. Brog

There are fans who are sure

In their black and their gold

That they’re climbing the stairway to seven

When we get there we’ll know

That the Packers are those

Who are waiting to face the Steel Curtain

Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

And we’re climbing the stairway to seven

There’s a man with the ball

Marching straight for the goal

And we know it will end in six points

Yellow towels wave around

As Jets fall to the ground

Meanwhile all of our thoughts turn to Myron

Ooh, Roethlisberger

Ooh, Polamalu

There’s a feeling I get

When I look to west

And the Terrible Towels are all waving

On our hands we can see

Rings of six already

And a space for one more still waiting

Ooh, Michael Wallace

Ooh, fear James Harrison

They will fall, all did say

When the Jets came to Heinz

But Coach Tomlin did lead us to vict’ry

In month 2 of the year

The Steel will stand strong

And the nation will echo “Go Steelers!”

Oh, here we go, here we go, here we go

From the three rivers to the west coast

And even farther

Steeler nation’s borders are endless

With all the antics in the spotlight

The Steelers have none

The Chief still lives in the hearts of kin

And keep reflecting

The spirits of past Super Bowl Champs

An inspiration

And Franco’s calling you to join him

Jack Lambert with L.C. and mean Joe

And the others

A dynasty resurrected new

And as we march to Dallas

Green Bay Packers we’ll face

In the house that Jones built

Both fight for one goal: Lombardi

Rogers fears Diezel’s beard and Big Snack

And will suffer more than ever

And Clay Matthews won’t serve much help

When all is said and all is done

The Steelers will hoist their seventh

And we're climbing the stairway to seven
